Description

University of Wolverhampton, ERRIN and European Brain Council would like to invite you to the policy seminar on the Brain related issues and specifically Brain Tumour.

Primary brain tumours are a significant cause of neurological morbidity and mortality in children, young adults and in early middle age across Europe. This represents significant emotional, societal and financial challenges to sufferers, their families and health services around Europe. Even with the best treatment available having a median survival of less than 12 months, few 2 year survivors and virtually no 5-year survivors.

This seminar is an attempt to disseminate knowledge about the problems that face patients with brain tumours, their families and carers to policy makers and other influencers in Europe and to unite European scientists, clinicians, brain tumour patients and policy makers in the fight to improve outcomes in this difficult to treat group of tumours.
