This ERRIN brokerage seminar on the forthcoming FP7 Regions of Knowledge call is a follow-up to the very successful project partner seminar on 27th June 2011.
At the event on 27th June, co-organised by the ERRIN ICT and Energy WGs, representatives from more than 45 regions attended the seminar, and 18 cluster profiles from 14 different regions were present. More information and background documents on this first event also here.
The follow-up event now on 21st September is specifically targeted to regional practitioners to give them the opportunity to exchange and work on project ideas, as well as to meet potential partners (clearly, Brussels-based representatives from regional offices are also more than welcomed). To this end, after the presentation of the call by a Commission official, a series of “match-making” roundtables will be organised.

Additional Information:
Practitioners or Brussels-based representatives who are planning to participate are thus kindly invited to fill in the cluster profile template and return it to the ERRIN WG Leaders for ICT and/or Energy before the 15th September.
The WG Leaders for the Energy & Climate Change Working Group are
Karen Burt, Scotland Europa, karen.burt@scotent.co.uk
Marco Canton, Veneto Region, marco.canton@regione.veneto.it
The WG Leaders for the ICT Working Group are
Jean-Paul Judson, Mediterranee Technologies, judson@mediterranee-technologies.com
Stuart Jackson, Paragon / Malta, stuart@paragoneurope.eu
This will greatly help us with the organisation of the roundtables and also enable practitioners to explore potential clusters and partners in advance of the event.
For your information, another event on the FP RoK and Research Potential calls is going to take place in Brussels right the day after: on the 22nd of September. This latter event, organised by the network of National Contact Points, represents a further opportunity for regional practitioners to meet partners and discuss with experts, so to take the most of their trip to Brussels (you’ll receive soon more information on how to register for this latter event).
