The newly established ERRIN Design & Creativity Working Group is lead by Helsinki EU Office.
Co-chairs of the group are Chambers of Commerce Ile-de-France, Flanders and Central Denmark.

For the coming year, the group will focus its work on the following areas:   

• Stimulate cooperation between the different Directorates - General of the European Commision working on Design & Creativity in order to raise awareness of the potentials of creativity and design in relation to creating growth and economic development
• Facilitate project development within the area of creativity and design by organising market places for the practitioners
• Awareness-raising of the issues related to the role of design in innovation and regional policy. This will be done both at the European and regional level.
• Profiling the regions in relation to design at EU level. Producing a comprehensive document for the internal use of the working group, as well as making the regions visible at the European level
• Links to other existing design-related networks (Districts of Creativity, Creative Metropoles (Oslo), Beda and others.
