ERRIN Policy Statements submitted:
Strengthening Europe's capability in research and innovation is a significant aim of the European Union. From the Lisbon Strategy to the Structural Funds and the Seventh Framework Programme, the EU has prepared various interventions to support the creation of the European Research Area. These large-scale measures are complemented by a range of sectoral policy initiatives in several fields, such as biotechnology, urban research, transport, nanotechnology, and ICT.
In this section ERRIN provides an overview of its contributions to the most relevant policy areas in the field of research and innovation. Please note that these policy domains are constantly evolving both at the EU level and in the activities of the Europe's regions, and therefore, this section may be updated regularly.
