EURORURAL '18 conference  on  USING  POTENTIALS  FOR  RURAL  DEVELOPMENT  IN  DIFFERENT  TYPES  OF  EUROPEAN  COUNTRYSIDE is aimed to discuss complex view of rural issues from different viewpoints (ecology, geography, demography, sociology, economy, territorial planning). It also focusses on mapping European rural research. The workshops (roundtables) manifests the main methodological instrument of the conference. They are directed to a selected issue or issues such as villages, small towns, cultu ral heritage and memory; rural depopulation and abandonment; role of tourism in rural development; rural landscape and changes of its macro and micro-structures; role of LEADER and community lead local development in the rural development and more.
