We are happy to welcome you to the first Innovation & Investment Working Group meeting for this year! The meeting will take place on Thursday 14th March between 12:00-14:30 at Occitanie Europe's premises in Brussels, located at Rond Point Schuman, 14 - 1050, Brussels..  In this meeting, the members of the Innovation & Investment Working Group will be able to engage in a discussion with representatives of the European Commission (DG CONNECT and DG RTD) on how regions can modernize public services via Innovation Procurement. Ms Lieve Bos (DG CONNECT) and Mr Francois Brizard (DG RTD) will clarify what is meant by innovation procurement, provide insight on how public procurement procedures can support the modernization of public services. Participants will have an overview of upcoming calls, and insight on a practical case study presented by Oslo Region on "zero carbon emission construction sites".  Bring your own lunch! Drink, tea and coffee will be available on site.
