The event Nature-based Solutions for more sustainable and resilient societies will be organised on 6th November at the European Parliament, and is co-hosted by Benedek Jávor, Bas Eickhout, Gerben-Jan Gerbrandy, Jo Leinen, José Ignácio Faria - Members of the European Parliament, in partnership with the EU Presidencies Estonia, Bulgaria and Austria; the Directorate General for Research and Innovation of the European Commission; and the European Regional Office of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. 

Healthy ecosystems are the foundation of a sustainable economy and the well-being of society and business. This event aims to highlight opportunities for innovating with nature, using cost-effective and flexible solutions and for developing new partnerships for action in Europe.

Join a diverse audience, including representatives from EU institutions, governments, NGOs, civil society, the scientific community and the business sector, taking part in this exchange on how nature-based solutions can make Europe a safe, diverse, resilient and healthy place that thrives.
