The Bulgarian Presidency of the European Union has launched a Call for expressions of interest to gather local authorities' experts (including regions) interested in becoming members of the following two new Partnerships within the Urban Agenda for the EU: 1. Security in public spaces. 2. Culture and cultural heritage. These thematic Partnerships are key delivery mechanisms of the Urban Agenda for the EU and the duration of the activities is approximately 3 years. The profile of candidature sought is that of real experts on the specific topics concerned rather than generalists. Participation is voluntary and open to all interested cities, regardless of size. Please be aware that the European Committee of the Regions cannot reimburse the cost of participation for the experts who are nominated and finally selected by the Director General meeting on Urban Matters on 14th November 2018.
