The IGLO Summer Reception 2017 will focus on the topic ‘Towards FP9’. The choice for this topic is timely, with the European Commission in the process of wrapping up the work on the Horizon 2020 interim evaluation and the planned launch of their public consultation on FP9 this summer. The perfect time for IGLO to provide Brussels stakeholders and colleagues from the European Institutions an opportunity to deepen the discussion on how to make the Framework Programme even more effective, efficient and impact oriented whilst laying the foundations for FP9.
Kurt Vandenberghe (Deputy Director-General: Open Innovation, Open Science, Open to the World, DG RTD, European Commission), the key note speaker, will present the Commission staff working document on the interim evaluation of Horizon 2020 and provide insights on FP9 planning.
A high level expert panel will discuss the road towards FP9 from various perspectives.
Registration will be open until 23 May (12:00).
