The conference aims to highlight and demonstrate the relevance of ecosystem services in urban environments in adapting to climate change and creating more sustainable development scenarios. The application of green infrastructures through local projects addresses these challenges by optimizing resources and, as proved by good practices involved, it could be financed by different programs at European, national or regional level.

The conference will convey experts, representatives from EU, international and national organizations such as city councils (Regionalverband Ruhr, London, Padova, Genova) that will share their best practices in nature-based solutions and green infrastructure planning. Our partners of the City of Genova will also bring their contribution.

The event will be held in English, a simultaneous translation will be provided.
