European stakeholders working to improve the quality of life of older people will meet EIP on AHA conference in Valencia in several parallel events between the 6th and 9th of June 2017. They will discuss innovative solutions, which can help and encourage people in Europe towards active and healthy ageing and exchange regional and national good practices from a quadruple helix perspective.
During this program, CORAL organizes a workshop on June 7th about EIP on AHA and new trends in EU’s health agenda. The CORAL workshop will open a discussion on how EIP on AHA will be affected by new trends in EU’s healthcare agenda. E.g., it makes sense to focus on prevention and keeping people healthy from early age as we see that financial efficiency continues to be a significant challenge and concern for European healthcare. If we move towards health care systems, that is more proactive than reactive where health promotion, disease prevention, and early diagnosis are the new buzzwords, how will this affect EIP on AHA? Will we need to adjust our focus? And will it still make sense to talk about Active Healthy Ageing in the future?
