Primary tabs

The Estonian Presidency is inviting you to a roundtable discussion that aims to gather feedback from key stakeholders related to the main themes of the Tallinn Call for Action.

Tallinn Call for Action 2017 sets out to make a case for revalidating excellent research and innovation as a key driver for future European competitiveness, and reaffirming investments in R&I as a clear priority, both at national and EU level. It provides concrete steps for immediate action by key stakeholders to achieve broad commitment to this. This roundtable discussion is a follow-up to a pan-European online survey that was ran by Science Business from 13 July to 20 August.

Tallinn Call for Action 2017 will be discussed and handed over by the Estonian Presidency to stakeholder representatives at the high-level conference European Research Excellence – Impact and Value for Society, held on 12 October. You can find a pre-registration link here (open until 7 September).

Agenda and documents of the roundtable discussion will be sent out in the beginning of September. Please contact brussels@etag.ee by 5 September the latest if you are interested in participating.

If you have any questions about the event, please contact Ms Maria Reinfeldt, maria.reinfeldt@hm.ee.
