Valentina Polylas is currently Senior Policy Officer at the Emilia-Romagna Delegation to the EU where she is in charge of Culture and Creativity, Skills, VET, Youth and Tourism. Since November 2014 she is co-chair of the Regional Initiative for culture and creativity, a Brussels-based network , with 26 members, that provides regional governments across the EU Member States with a strategic European platform to advocate on cultural and creative policies and participate in relevant EU funding programs. Previous to that she was in charge of the secretariat of the Lisbon Regions Network , a political network gathering 15 European regions focused on innovation and the Lisbon strategy. Valentina graduated in law at the University of Bologna. She hold a LLM in International and European law from the University of Bologna and a M.A in European Studies from the University of Louvain-la- Neuve – Université Saint Louis.
