Adapting to the Climate Crisis in Agriculture: The LIFE ADA Project
The Emilia-Romagna Region, in collaboration with UnipolSai Assicurazioni, is pleased to invite you to the event 'The Challenge of Adapting to the Climate Crisis for the Agricultural Sector - The LIFE ADA Project Model - ADaptation in Agriculture', which will be held on 27 November from 15:00 to 17:00 in Brussels at the European Committee of the Regions.
The meeting will present the final results of the LIFE ADA project, aimed at enhancing the resilience of the agricultural sector by providing knowledge and planning tools for risk management and the implementation of adaptation measures.
The first part of the event will focus on presenting the project‘s objectives and guidelinesdeveloped over four years of activity. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion, involving representatives of the European Commission, farmers and producers’ organizations, to review the results, explore EU policies, and discuss the needs of farmers in addressing the climate crisis and strengthening agricultural resilience.
The event will take place in room JDE52 of the European Committee of the Regions, with the possibility of following the proceedings via live streaming. The link will be sent a few days before the meeting. The languages spoken will be Italian, English, and French, with interpretation service.
To participate and have access to the Committee of the Regions' premises, it is necessary to register by filling in the form accessible from this link. Registration will be closed two days before the meeting. An identity document will be required to enter the venue.
