EFI Bioregions Facility is organising the high-level event ‘Bioeconomy Regions Summit’ in Brussels on 28 November 2024.
This event will highlight the essential role of European regions in advancing place-based forest bioeconomy and will provide a platform for knowledge exchange on best practices and strategies.
A central feature of the event will be a panel discussion on ‘Interregional collaboration for the European Bioeconomy’, bringing together representatives from networks and initiatives, including ERRIN and Circular Cities and Region Initiative, who will share their insights on the role of interregional collaboration in advancing bioeconomy at local and regional level.
The Bioeconomy Regions Summit will gather high-level political representatives from leading bioeconomy regions, European Commission representatives, regional delegations to the EU, aiming to facilitate knowledge exchange on best practices and strategies while fostering networking and connections among key bioeconomy stakeholders at regional and EU level.
