On 12 May 2025, Brussels will host the 2nd InvestEU high-level event, focusing on the future European Competitiveness Fund and InvestEU's role in boosting innovation, decarbonisation and the social sector. The event will take place in the Charlemagne building between 13:00 and 18:00.

The conference will open with a high-level session with Stéphane Séjourné, Executive Vice-President for Prosperity and Industrial Strategy, alongside other key figures, to outline the EU’s investment agenda.

Four thematic panels will follow, covering:
- Financing the Clean Industrial Deal
- Investing in companies and technologies of tomorrow
- Financing social investments and skills
- Mobilising EU-based private capital
