The event will illustrate how the Four Motors’ regions (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes – FR, Catalonia – ES, Lombardy – IT, and Baden-Württemberg – DE) empower women and girls to pursue careers in STEM-professions, in particular in information and communication technologies. Following the good practices session, political representatives from the four regions will discuss the empowerment of women from a European policy making perspective. The session is a side event of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2018, organised by Four Motors’ regions (ERRIN Members Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Catalonia, Lombardy, and Baden-Württemberg).
