As the European Climate Pact is announced during the Covenant of Mayors Ceremony, attention will also be placed on the importance of citizen engagement in the European Green Deal.

The Climate Pact Citizen's Dialogue will take place on 4th March in Brussels. It will be opened by Vice President Frans Timmermans, who will announce the launch of an open public consultation on the Climate Pact, inviting all citizens and stakeholders to contribute ideas.

The launch of the dialogue is taking place alongside the EU Covenant of Mayors ceremony to highlight the importance of citizens' and stakeholders' contribution to the Climate Pact. 

The event will bring together young people, their representatives and European and regional authorities.
