Fostering the integration of the TEN-T in urban areas

ERRIN & Polis recognise the importance of the Connecting Europe Facility as the main funding programme for the deployment of sustainable urban transport projects. European Union should secure the level of urban nodes projects funding in the next MFF. Concrete transport cases, all with European added value, will illustrate that the urban nodes priority within the programme have helped solve some of the ‘last mile’ issues, thus increasing the overall TEN-T network efficiency. The cases will highlight the role of local authorities as key players in the implementation of CEF projects. Moderator : Isabelle Vandoorne Deputy Head of Unit DG MOVE European Commission. This session of the European Week of Regions and Cities 2018 is organised by ERRIN Members Ile-de-France (FR) , Aragon Exterieur (ES) , Stuttgart region (DE) and POLIS.
