CivTech® is the Scottish Government’s flagship innovation programme to harness digital innovation in public services. It brings together private sector innovation, public sector organisations and citizens to develop more efficient and effective products and services, which translate to new, better, faster and easier experiences for everyone.
CivTech® has a proven track record in creating jobs, providing economic development opportunities, delivering better public services, and fostering a transformational mind-set whilst saving millions of pounds. It provides a way of making it attractive for digital start-ups to devote their creativity to improving public services, in health, the environment and other fields, and helps cultivate an entrepreneurial mind-set in the public sector. The CivTech® approach has the power to foster genuine innovation across public services and stimulate new methods of European collaboration.
The session will include presentations from the CivTech® founder and organisations who have partnered with CivTech® to deliver digital innovative solutions to replicable public service challenges. This will cover topics such as the procurement of digital services, Internet of Things (IoT), data, AI and machine learning.
This will be followed by a panel discussion and a networking reception.
