Health & Ageing sector investment, European funds and human resources: the post 2020 perspective

ProMIS - Mattone Internazionale Salute Programme and the Italian Ministry of Health, along with the support of CHAFEA (Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency), are going to organize on January 18-19, 2018, a conference entitled "Health&Ageing investment, European funds and human resources: the post 2020 perspective". The event will be an opportunity to compare national and international experiences of policies and actions with the aim at supporting the human resources development and their innovation skills in the healthcare sector. The afternoon session of January 18 will be addressed to the global sustainability in the context of Human Resources Management in Health care with the speeches by the representatives of the OECD and WHO. Later on, the session will focus on European policies for the development of digital competences as a response to the introduction of new technologies in the healthcare systems: representatives of the European Commission and the European Federation of Public Service Unions (EPSU) will speak to the audience. During the second day, January 19, the conference will be divided into 3 plenary sessions. The first one will focus on developing policies at national level for the dissemination of "soft" and "digital" skills among health personnel: it will see the presence of institutional actors. The second session, leaded by CHAFEA, will be dedicated to the presentation of EU funding sources aimed at supporting initiatives on this issue.
