Healthcare seeking and provision in Europe’s superdiverse neighbourhoods

The University of Birmingham is delighted to invite you to a round-table discussion lead by Professor Jenny Phillimore, Director of the Institute for Research into Superdiversity (IRiS) with the purpose to share with you the findings of the project "UPWEB - Understanding the practice and developing the concept of welfare bricolage" and explore the best ways of disseminating the results across Europe. The UPWEB project, partly funded by FP7, aims to identify cross-EU solutions to welfare state transformation. It examines how residents living in superdiverse neighbourhoods address their health concerns using wide ranging resources from formal, informal, third and transnational providers, as well as the internet.
