HoNESt H2020 Project ‘Engagement with Nuclear Energy and Society: past, present and future’ organises its final conference on 7 February (10:30 – 16:30) in Rue du Trône 62, 7th floor, Brussels.
The aim of this conference is to share and discuss the research findings on the past, present and future of nuclear energy in society. It will involve stakeholders from industry, associations, politics, research and civil society.
Since September 2015, HoNESt project members have been researching the historical and societal dimensions of nuclear energy in Europe. The goal has been to draw lessons on how best to resolve societal conflicts about nuclear power. To this end, HoNESt has combined broad-based historical research on 20 countries with rigorous social-scientific analysis while engaging with relevant stakeholders ranging from industry to civil society.
