As part of the European Green Deal, the transportation sector is expected to achieve a 90% reduction in transport emissions by the year 2050. A chance to learn about the implications of the green deal for the maritime industry is presented in a stakeholder seminar organised by ECOPRODIGI. 

The seminar will address the European Green Deal, the role of digital tools and solutions and potential policy measures through discussions and keynote speeches from the industry as well as from research and policy fields. 

The seminar will focus on topics such as:

  • The European Green Deal - what are the implications for the maritime industry?
  • The role of digital tools and solutions in increasing eco-efficiency in vessel performance, cargo stowage and shipyard processes
  • Policy measures needed to support prosperous and sustainable development in the maritime industry.
