The Transport WG meeting will explore two key EU partnerships dedicated to non-road transportation under Horizon Europe. These partnerships offer valuable insights into their structure and the projects funded so far.

Zero Emission Waterborne Transport - Institutionalised Co-Programmed Partnership: The goal of this partnership is to develop and demonstrate zero-emission solutions for all major ship types and services by 2030, enabling zero-emission waterborne transport by 2050.

Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking - Institutionalised Partnership (Art. 185/7): The Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking is the European Union’s leading research and innovation initiative aimed at transforming aviation into a sustainable and climate-neutral future.

The session will include presentations on how these partnerships operate, with practical examples of the projects they support and their potential to address specific challenges in non-road transportation. This hands-on approach will offer participants a better understanding of how to engage with these initiatives and leverage their opportunities to contribute to advancing sustainable transport solutions.
