Second European Industry Day

Building on the constructive dialogue that was initiated during the first European Industry Day in February 2017, the second edition of the event will update stakeholders on the Commission's strategic approach to industrial policy and actions to further develop industrial competitiveness in Europe. It will also serve as a forum where stakeholders contributing to European industrial competitiveness can showcase their activities, learn from each other, discuss cross-cutting issues and develop joint visions for the future. The second European Industry Day will be divided into 3 parts: On 23 February we will organise a high-level conference with the participation of high-level speakers and key-experts On 22 February stakeholders from any sector of industry, or the research and innovation community are invited to submit their proposals for organising up to 15 workshops in Brussels. The call for expressions of interest, as well as the template for the proposals, is now available. Interested parties should submit their proposals via email to EU-INDUSTRY-DAY@ec.europa.eu by midday on 10 December 2017 (Brussels time). Organisations, companies and public authorities across Europe will also be able to submit proposals to organise local, regional or national events under the 'European Industry Week' brand.
