Strategic Infrastructures for the Future

Strategic Infrastructures for the Future

The modernisation of public administration relies heavily on advanced, secure, and resilient technological infrastructure. Key components such as data centres, cloud services, and edge computing are critical in driving this transformation. Recognising their strategic importance, many public administrations—at both regional and municipal levels—are making significant investments in developing and managing these infrastructures, often in partnership with private sector players.

This event aims to achieve several important objectives:

  • Explore the European Commission’s policies and initiatives surrounding digital infrastructures, with a special focus on their relevance and application within public administration;
  • Share and discuss best practices from across Europe, showcasing successful examples and innovative approaches;
  • Introduce European stakeholders to the “Polo Strategico Regionale (PSR)” initiative led by the Veneto Region, highlighting it as a pioneering digital infrastructure designed to support the entire region and its local authorities.

This event presents a unique opportunity to delve into future strategies, exchange insights, and foster collaboration among European entities, all with the goal of creating a more efficient, innovative public administration that meets the challenges of the 21st century.
