”Transforming our food systems to be more resilient and sustainable in the future – How to make most of the € 10 billion for Food & Natural Resources in Horizon Europe?”   European Commission’s Horizon Europe proposal foresees a strong investment in Food and Natural Resources related R&I activities. This is needed in order to fully implement the systemic transformation of food systems towards sustainability and to create the impact needed for a necessary change and an overall correction to restore the planetary health while boosting sustainable growth and jobs.   Only through ambitious European research which is built on interdisciplinary, multi-actor, and multiscale-practices across European borders and beyond, integrating strongly the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals in a comprehensive and balanced way. Horizon Europe programme can contribute to bringing about a sustainable and resilient future both for the people and the planet.
