UNILION ANNUAL THEMATIC EVENT “SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGS) AND UNIVERSITIES: QUO VADIS?”

What do the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) mean for universities, and how can universities be key partners in delivering the SDGs? We, the network of university liaison offices in Brussels, would like to invite you to save the date for our second annual thematic event, ‘Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Universities: Quo Vadis?’, which will take place on Tuesday 15 October 2019 from 17:30-21:00 in Brussels. Senior representatives of our member universities will debate the societal and economic value of university education, research and innovation, followed by a panel discussion with high-level policy-makers and a networking reception. We are UnILiON (Universities Informal Liaison Offices Network) – an informal network consisting of more than 40 university liaison offices collaborating in Brussels and representing more than 140 universities. We act as an effective information multiplier, with the aim of being the single entry point to a world of excellent universities and a gateway for them to the EU institutions. It is also a platform for exchange and partnering. Further details will follow soon. For more information, please contact events@unilion.eu. Registration here
