The European University Association, in partnership with the European Committee of the Regions, is organising an event that aims to underline and enhance universities’ role in innovation ecosystems. This event strives to highlight the potential of universities and how the innovation ecosystem can be enriched by them in the context of new policy priorities for research and innovation. The event will build on examples of successful partnerships between universities, industry, and public authorities.
Mariya Gabriel, Nominee for EC Commissioner for Innovation and Youth will give a keynote speech. ERRIN’s director, Pirita Lindholm, will speak during the final session of the day, which seeks to take stock on the role and achievements of universities in innovation ecosystems.
