Horizon 2020 - SC2: Exploring the new funding opportunities from the 2018-2020 work programme

The purpose of the event is to provide to academic and non academic representatives of the EUREGIO area (Tyrol - South Tyrol - Trentino) and surrounding regions the opportunity to explore and evaluate the new funding opportunities provided by EC within the next Horizon 2020 calls included under the Societal Challenge 2 ‘Food security, sustainable agriculture and forestry, marine and maritime and inland water research and the bioeconomy’. Smart Specialisation WG meeting

In this last Smart Specialisation Working Group meeting of the year, we will learn more about, and discuss The future of smart specialisation and cohesion policy. It will take place on December 4 at the Helsinki EU Office, Rue Belliard 15-17 from 14.00 – 16.30. Please find the agenda attached.  At this meeting we will also give the opportunity to discuss next year's priorities for the working group, so please bring ideas and thoughts for the coming year.  Very welcome!

Tourism WG Meeting

During this high-level and interactive discussion we will learn more about the Iron Curtain Trail, a project that invites people to retrace and experience the former division of the continent on a 6,800 km cycle track along the length of the former border, combining European culture, history and sustainable tourism.

European forum of innovation for tomorrow's images

FIFTI is the European forum of innovation for tomorrow's images. It targets technical product or service providers as well as content producers, and aims at favoring international collaborations to produce innovative projects. It will open on the 5th with a networking party, cocktail & dj set and a showroom of companies.  The 6th and 7th will be the occasion for the participants to share a breakfast with various public and private funds likely to support their projects.

Breakfast Discussion with the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre on “Innovation Camps” and “Science meets Parliaments”

Developed in 2010 by the Aalto University Campus in Espoo (Finland), the Innovation Camps have been adopted by the European Commission‘s Joint Research Centre (JRC)  and the Committee of the Regions as a tool to help regions identify and tackle societal challenges locally. With a view to exploring the interest of ERRIN Members in bringing the Innovation Camps to their regions, this breakfast discussion will examine how the methodology can help to face common territorial development challenges.

WEAR project event - Guirmarães

Join us for the WEAR Sustain event (Guimarães, Portugal) to launch the 2nd and final round of competition funding. Priorities of the Bulgarian presidency for internal market and industry

From the 11th to the 15th of december the Flanders-Europe Liaison Agency (vleva) is hosting a Bulgarian week. On the 1st of january 2018 the Bulgarians will kick-off their first ever presidency of the Council of the European Union. On the 11th of december two Bulgarian attachés will present their priorities for industry and internal market during a breakfast-session. One of the items on the EU-agenda in 2018 is the evaluation of the COSME-programme.

European Entrepreneurial Region 2020 Info Day

The 2020 edition of the European Entrepreneurial Region (EER) award has been launched on 19 November 2018 at the European SME Assembly in Graz. The deadline for the submission of applications is 27 March 2019.  The European Committee of the Regions is organising an EER 2020 Info Day, in order to give potential candidates the opportunity to learn more about the objectives of the award and the assessment criteria, and to obtain advice from successful EER regions and representatives of the EER jury.
