The main aim of the project is to develop and commercially launch a new modular bike lane made of recycled materials (polypropylene, elastomers and fibers) that satisfy all current infrastructure needs with no maintenance, a long life time and being cost competitive.
OUTLINE OF THE PROJECT IDEA The main goal is to incorporate BIM knowledge into vocational training courses. This knowledge will be offered by a company, a foreign university or a vocational training center and be incorporated in the IES Miguel de Cervantes, located in the Region of Murcia, and in other European centres. A Spanish concrete company has been carrying out a project which started in 2015 called “STRUCTURAL CONCRETE FOR EARTHQUAKES”. In this project, a special concrete has been developed and its structural behaviour has been evaluated in reinforced concrete.
Some findings have been obtained from what can be founded in international bibliography.
The project starts from a previous one, that of Structural concrete for earthquakes, implemented by a Spanish concrete company and co-financed by the Spanish Centre for the development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), with a budget of 270.107€.

The Technical University of Cartagena is participating in UNICORN (http://unicorn-project.eu), an H2020 project where partners are developing a DevOps-as-a-Service platform to ease multi-cloud application design, deployment, management, monitoring, and intrusion detection in a single platform (as a Service).
