2025 EU Mission on Adaptation reporting cycle now open

The 2025 reporting cycle for Signatories to the EU Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change officially launched on 18 June 2025. All Signatories are invited to submit their updates via the CDP reporting platform.

Reporting is a vital step for tracking progress, identifying challenges and informing stronger, more targeted climate adaptation actions at local, regional and EU levels. It also fosters transparency and shared learning among Signatories across Europe.

In 2024, Signatories reported over 590 adaptation actions, providing valuable insights into governance structures, risk assessments, planning efforts and on-the-ground implementation.

To start reporting, Signatories can access the CDP platform here using their email and password. The 2025 reporting window remains open until the week of November 17th, 2025.

The Signatory Reporting on the Mission Portal offers a snapshot of how local and regional authorities are advancing climate adaptation, based on data submitted via CDP. It highlights progress in governance, risk assessment, planning, and action. An interactive map allows users to explore reported data and emerging practices from across Europe.
