ARCHE Stakeholders' Consultation: Leveraging Culture and Creative Sectors for Resilient Cultural Heritage
The ARCHE project has launched a stakeholders' consultation to help shape its Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, which will take over the JPI CH 2020 SRIAand be the masterplan for future research and innovation activities on cultural heritage in Europe, including joint calls.
Cultural heritage is increasingly at risk due to climate change, with both tangible and intangible assets facing unprecedented threats from extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and environmental degradation. The European Partnership for Resilient Cultural Heritage (RCH), which will publish its first call in 2026, seeks to address these challenges, yet the cultural and creative sectors should be more involved in this process.
As a strategy document, the ARCHE SRIA shall ensure that the long-term vision is translated into concrete roadmaps with measurable objectives. It will be the result of a thorough collaborative approach that shall draw from the ARCHE Stakeholders’ Forum consultations. ARCHE Stakeholders’ Forum is open to all: research and academic communities, policymakers, NGOs, EU/international initiatives, communities of practice, Cultural and Creative Sector professionals, Cultural Heritage professionals, innovators, and funding agencies.
Contributing to the SRIA is crucial for CCS professionals who want to influence the EU's innovation and funding priorities. By being part of this consultation, you can shape the roadmap for future transnational research projects and initiatives.
