Call for Challenges Still Open for the NBS Workshop at the Nordic Edge Expo

ERRIN will together with its Smart Cities WG members Eindhoven, Stavanger and Cities Northern Netherlands, and the European Network of Living Labs and the UNaLab project organise an NBS workshop during the Nordic Edge Expo on 26th September in Stavanger, Norway. The theme of the workshop is nature-based solutions and the aim of the workshop is to bring cities and regions together in a co-creative session to explore climate related challenges, while demonstrating how to work together and engage with other stakeholders. The target audience for the workshop is representatives from municipalities and cities, as well as businesses. To deliver a successful and relevant workshop, the organisers are still calling on cities and regions to submit concrete examples of challenges related to climate change and nature-based solutions, that can be used during the workshop. The participants of the workshop will namely be divided into groups and each group will receive a concrete challenge related to nature-based solutions and urban living labs, which they need to work with and try to solve.  To give some help, eight wide groups of different types of challenges have been set up: Climate driven health issues Water scarcity Flooding Water/air pollution Heat stress Rapid growth/increased densification Habitat loss Reduced biodiversity Please note that if your city's or region's challenge is selected for the workshop, we would like somebody from your city or region to come to the workshop in Stavanger to present the challenge to the group of participants that will work with your challenge. Please find here the form for submitting your challenge. The deadline for submitting challenges is 15th June 2018.  Please find attached an early programme overview of the conference.
