The LIFE programme (2021-2027) is the subject of a new online consultation launched by the European Commission. The Clean Energy Transition sub-programme will see market uptake activities currently funded under the Energy Challenge of H2020 continue. 

LIFE will be the only EU funding programme dedicated to the environment, climate and energy, by contributing towards the shift to a circular economy, protecting and improving the quality of the environment and stopping and reversing biodiversity loss and ecosystem degradation.
