ERRIN Policy Working Group meeting on state of play of FP10 and MFF post-2027

ERRIN Policy Working Group meeting on state of play of FP10 and MFF post-2027

On September 2, ERRIN's Policy Working Group organised a meeting to kick off ERRIN's policy activities for the second half of the year. The meeting provided a platform for ERRIN members to discuss the recent European Commission’s legislative proposals for the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2028-2034 and collectively plan joint follow-up activities. The discussions focused in particular on the draft regulations concerning the next Framework Programme (FP10) and European Competitiveness Fund (ECF), as well as the future of Cohesion Policy and Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3).

With the call for evidence and public consultation open until 3 October 2025 for the European Innovation Act, planned for adoption at the beginning of 2026, this meeting also featured a presentation by Policy Officer Ugo Dino Fonda from the Commission's DG RTD and exchanges among members to discuss ERRIN's response to the call for evidence. ERRIN members who plan to submit a response to the call for evidence to share their input with ERRIN, by sending an email to ewa.chomicz@errin.eu; maria.bostrom@errin.eu; pirita.lindholm@errin.eu.

Presentations from the Policy WG meeting are available to logged-in ERRIN members here.
