The Just Transition Platform (JTP) has now been launched in order to help Member States draw up their territorial Just Transition Plans and to access the €150 billion Just Transition Mechanism (JTM) fund. The online platform will support public and private stakeholders in coal and other carbon-intensive regions so that no regions are left behind has Europe transitions towards the EU Green Deal.

The platform and forum will serve as an online place where information and experiences will be shared as Member States move towards climate-neutrality. The JTM plans to help regions to overcome the economic and social costs of such a transition. The platform will ensure inclusive growth for present and future generations from carbon-intensive regions.
