The Commission is preparing for a Renovation Wave as part of its commitments in the European Green Deal. The initiative is to address the current low decarbonisation and energy renovation rates across the EU in public and private buildings. 

By boosting the energy performance of buildings will mean conuming less energy and saving money, enable more solutions for energy, heating, cooling, waste management, sustainable mobility and social cohesion. 

A consultation is currently running to gather views on how to make the Renovation Wave as effective and ambitious as possible. All stakeholders interested in building renovation are invited to take part before 9th July 2020. Click here to complete the consultation.
