Last week, the Council and the European Parliament agreed on the final legal text of the European Year of Rail, which will take place in 2021. The final text makes direct reference to rail’s history and its cultural heritage as an opportunity to build on rail’s power for the collective imagination.
The UNaLab project is conducting a study on how people generally perceive and use urban green spaces, and how these use patterns have changed due to the COVID-19 situation. The results of this study will contribute to the design of urban green spaces to satisfy the needs of all urban citizens.
The JPI Urban Europe Policy conference took place yesterday online. The conference served as forum to exchange on the opportunities for and needs of cities and municipalities in the face the EU Green Deal and the Urban Agenda.
