Online consultation on Digital Europe Programme

The European Commission has opened a consultation on the draft Orientation of the first two years of its proposed Digital Europe programme. Inputs received through the consultation will help the Commission finalise the Orientations for Digital Europe. These will then shape the work programmes and calls for proposals for the programme’s first two years (2021-2022).

European Capital of Innovation 2019 announced

Last week at the Research and Innovation Days the Commission announced the European Capital of Innovation for 2019. The city of Nantes in north-west France was awarded the title, securing a €1 million prize funded by Horizon 2020.

The UNWTO Awards aim to acknowledge the contribution of institutions - public, private or NGOs - to competitive and sustainable tourism development at the local, national, regional and international levels. ERRIN Management Board Election 2018 open until 17 October 17.00 CET

The voting for the ERRIN Management Board is now open until Wednesday 17 October 17.00 CET. A specific webpage has been set up on our website for this purpose: https://www.errin.eu/content/management-board-elections-2018/0. You can find necessary information on the process as well as motivation letters from all candidates on this page. The ERRIN Management Board has 15 members. Each member is elected for a term of three years, who under the current statutes can serve two consecutive terms. Every year five Management Board seats are up for election.

New partnership in the field of safe and sustainable mobility under the S3 Platform for Industrial Modernisation

A new partnership has been set up in the field of safe and sustainable mobility under the S3 Platform for Industrial Modernisation (S3P Industry). The partnership was developed by the ERRIN Members Île-de-France and Aragón Exterior (ES), Transport Working Group leading regions, together with Bavaria (DE).  ERRIN will facilitate the work of the partnership by involving other interested partners and by disseminating the results.
