Seminar on Test and Demonstration environments - Gothenburg

Today’s rapid technological development will bring many opportunities to European industry, create new jobs and find solutions on societal needs. However, it is important that technological and scientific developments can quickly be turned into solutions serving society and strengthening the competitiveness of our companies. Access to testbeds, both in “closed” environments1 as well as in-real-life (IRL), is often crucial in the innovation process to faster bring high value solutions to the market. Testbeds, or rather test environments , do not only speed up the process but they also reduce risk and contribute to the acceptance of new products or concepts. This is a seminar in Gothenburg on the need for a more strategic view in Europe around test and demonstration facilities. Its a two half-days event on 30/11 and 1/12 with the aim to discuss how to increase the accessability and utility of Test and Demos in Europe.  This is seen as one of the priorities for the nextcoming programming period and FP9. See the attached agenda for more detailed information and registration details.
