The Tourism Working Group is focused on exploring links and opportunities with creative and cultural industries (e.g. via the Smart Specialisation Platform for Industrial Modernisation, film industry as a tool to integrate tourism itineraries and products), cultural tourism and heritage, clusters, sharing economy from regional authorities point of view and on providing early information to members on tourism policy future strands, strategic objectives with financial tools, inter-regional joint activities, EU calls. Deployment of research and innovation results in the tourism sector, conducted within EU programmes.
