Seminar on the future of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) in the North Sea Region

A seminar that aims to highlight the regional efforts around the North Sea to ensure a timley implemetation of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) is to take place in Brussels. Innovative solutions to prevent marine litter The Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) requires EU Member States to ensure that, by 2020, "properties and quantities of marine litter do not cause harm to the coastal and marine environment".  With the MFSD, the European Strategy for Plastics in a Circular Economy and the Circular Plastics Alliance as a starting point this meeting will inform about the European Commission’s thinking regarding marine litter. In October 2018 the European Commission launched the Blue Bioeconomy Forum as a new tool to boost the blue bioeconomy in Europe.
