The ERRIN Health Working Group aims to support WG members with early intelligence, regular updates, about EU level health policy-related issues, funding opportunities for them to function as project facilitators towards their regional stakeholders. The Health working group works as a means to create collaboration between the members in order to develop common EU projects. WG is also a vehicle for profile raising and promotion of good practices, projects within the regions. Members are invited to put forward their relevant proposals and use each meeting to share their partner searches for their on-going/upcoming initiatives with their peers.

SAPHIRe workshop: the role of regional actors as health data providers and users

The SAPHIRe - Securing Adoption of Personalised Health in Regions - project is hosting its third workshop in April. Technology transfer in Biotech: successful cases in an Italian border region

Later this month, the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, an ERRIN member, will present the results of the TRAIN project at the European Economic and Social Committee. The TRAIN: Big Data and Disease Models project - a cross border platform of validated kits for the biotech industry - is funded under the Interreg Italy-Slovenia programme.  The project aims to increase cooperation between key biomedical subjects such as research institutes, universities and companies to create a service platform. Launch event for the European exposome network

The emerging research interest of deciphering how environmental exposures affect our health, known as the human exposome, is the subject of a network launching in Brussels next week. The European human exposome network is made up of nine Horizon 2020 research projects. The all-day launch event is a chance to learn more about the exposome concept and the aims and ambitions of the network. The European Commission states that increasing understanding of the human exposome will advance Europe's approach to enviroment and health research, healthcare and policymaking.  The event is open to all.…

AAL Info Day 2020

In anticipating of the AAL Programme's 2020 Call, interested parties are invited to attend an information day in Vienna, Austria. The event is an opportunity to learn more about the call, meet representatives from the European Commission, the AAL Programme, the EIP on AHA and member states.
