As stated in Commission Work Programme 2017, ‘A New Boost for Jobs, Growth and Investment’ is one of the 10 priorities of European Commission, and “it is through innovation and the right investment in our economies that companies create jobs”. The Innovation & Investment Working Group aims to monitor the main initiatives put in place by the EU institutions under this priority, getting early information about such initiatives and connecting with like-minded organisations.

The aim of the present project is the integration of third country nationals into the labour market through skill acquisition and development in the form of fast track vocational training and placement services. The skills of TCNs will be assessed in the context of the project using a methodology that includes methods such as interviews as well as tools with special reference to the use of the EU Skills Profile Tool for Third Country Nationals.
