The Tourism Working Group is focused on exploring links and opportunities with creative and cultural industries (e.g. via the Smart Specialisation Platform for Industrial Modernisation, film industry as a tool to integrate tourism itineraries and products), cultural tourism and heritage, clusters, sharing economy from regional authorities point of view and on providing early information to members on tourism policy future strands, strategic objectives with financial tools, inter-regional joint activities, EU calls. Tourism WG Meeting | Exploiting regional and local assets: cultural tourism and experience economy

The main theme for 2019 will be Smart Tourism Destinations; within that, the WG meeting will be devoted to Regional and Local Assets, Cultural Tourism and Experience Economy. We would like to inspire you for your various regional and/or interregional collaboration proposals. For this reason, we encourage you at each meeting to pitch-present your related project ideas, in order to exchange views and find partners.  

ILUCIDARE evening and networking event

You are kindly invited to join the project consortium at an evening event to celebrate the start of ILUCIDARE, a large-scale project dedicated to cultural heritage-led innovation and diplomacy. The event will be followed by a networking reception. The seminar intends to investigate how to increase regional competitiveness by developing common projects having transnational dimension and how digitalization and  innovative business models can create new opportunities for tourism operators and for the entire tourism value chain. Hiking Europe Network

Hiking Europe project is looking for the regions/organisations  who wants to join the Network. Hiking Europe project’s main objective is to promote a transational network of rural touristic routes structured in several hiking itineraries across Europe. The partnership gathers 8 members from 6 different EU countries: Spain (Catalonia), Italy (Emilia- Romagna), Croatia (Dubrovnik-Neretva), Ireland (Donegal), Austria and Germany.
