This opinion paper produced by ERRIN's Transport WG presents the actions implemented by public and private actors involved in the return of logistics to planning policies, particularly in the field of urban logistics and freight.

The priorities presented can help to inspire future EU policies especially in the context of the Commission’s upcoming Urban Mobility Initiative (UMI). This paper builds on an earlier version from 2019, that was refined and updated in light of the new Commission initiatives and the ongoing UMI preparations.
