2026 Cleantech Conference: Advancing Europe’s leadership through transformative decarbonisation
On 19 May 2026, CINEA and the European Commission (DG CLIMA) are organising the 2026 Cleantech Conference: 'Advancing Europe’s leadership through transformative decarbonisation'. The event will take place in Brussels and online.
As Europe faces increasing geopolitical pressures, volatile energy markets and growing global competition, strengthening the link between climate ambition and competitiveness is more important than ever. Industrial decarbonisation is emerging as a key driver of economic resilience, energy security and strategic autonomy.
The conference will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, investors and innovators to take stock of progress and discuss how to accelerate Europe’s clean industrial transition. Discussions will focus on scaling up the deployment of clean technologies, such as renewable energy, hydrogen, energy storage, e-fuels and carbon removal, while addressing key challenges including access to finance, market uptake and resilient value chains.
The event will also highlight the role of the Innovation Fund in supporting breakthrough projects and bringing transformative decarbonisation solutions to market, helping to position Europe as a global leader in cleantech.
Register by 5 May for onsite participation and by 18 May for online participation. More information is available here.
