In light of the Germany presidency of the EU Council, this event will focus on the added value of multidisciplinary research and innovation activities in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

The session will ask:

• How can we avoid working in silos?
• How can we overcome the limits of current digital technologies in terms of capacity, speed and energy consumption?
• Are there policy steps that should be prioritised at a European level to boost the potential of AI in the green and digital ERA? 

A series of high-level speakers from politics, science and industry will attempt to answer these questions.
